For those unaware, the Tokyo Game Show has been going on this weekend and Yoshi & Co have been releasing a whole bunch of information through a live letter event like they did at E3. I decided to compile the information I can find into a nice sectioned list. Here's what we know so far:

Patch 2.1 Content:
-New Primal Battle: Good King Moggle Mog XII
- Extreme Mode Primal Battles
- Two "Hard Mode" versions of existing dungeons
- Extra New Dungeon: Pharos Sirius
- The Crystal Tower
- Housing
- The Wolves' Den (PvP)
- Treasure Hunting
- Hard Mode Boss Battles
- Beastmen Daily Quests
- Duty Finder - Random Matching System
- Official teaser page

FFXI Collaboration / Shantotto:
- Giant Shantotto F.A.T.E.
- Shantotto minion reward.
- Official teaser page

FFXIII Collaboration / Lightning:
- Has story and cutscenes
- Will be "available during" (11/14) the week after Lightning Returns launches (time limited)?

The Coil of Bahamut:
- Nobody has beaten Turn 5 yet
- SE may make it easier over time (wipe buff?)
- Boss battle versus Bahamut himself will be added in 2.2
- Coil will be expanded with more turns in patch 2.3

Crystal Tower:
- 24 man raid, 90-120 minutes per run
- Three 8-man teams with normal duty finder setup (2 tanks, 2 healers, 4 dps)
- Teams will be required to split up occasionally
- Final Fantasy III themed, including rewards (Fuma gear)

Housing:
- 3 sizes: small, medium large (we knew this)
- Free company first, personal housing coming later?
- Houses are currently made of 380 different interchangeable parts
- Price of housing still not determined
- Can grow Gysahl Greens inside your house (gardening?)
- Can (in future?) raise Chocobos at your house
- Free companies can hire NPC vendors/repairs/etc for their HQ
- Can place retainers in HQ at stands
- Will eventually be able to use basement to build ships, group crafting, etc. (how do you get it out..?)
- Housing Video

Wolves' Den (PvP):
- Three tiers (Lv30, Lv40, Lv50)
- The game will not match pre-made teams with random duty finder teams
- PvP-only abilities available
- PvP-specific sets of armor available
- Thinking about 1v1 PvP for later
- PvP Armor Album

TGS Titan Challenge:
- Each time Titan was beaten at TGS, all characters on a random world receive Cactaur Earrings.
- Titan beaten enough times that all worlds won Cactaur Earrings on first day
- For second day, since there'd be no reward, Bomb Earrings were put up for grabs
- All worlds have now won bomb earrings too
- Will receive information on how to collect reward later
- Earrings picture modelled on Kio?

Other Information:
- Game has an average of 617,000 daily unique logins
- World transfer services start in early October
- More servers scheduled to go online in October
- Patch will release "this year"

There are more videos that were shown that I haven't found yet (of PvP, Lightning, dungeons, etc). Will post once I find them.

Im very excited about 24 man raids, we really need to focus on gearing up and getting 3 solid 8 man teams.

I hope SE can keep those numbers, thats a very very healthy MMO if they can keep that. According to MMODATA, that sub base we have already is higher than XI ever reached in it's entire life.

Pretty impressive patch. I am very excited for it!

I wonder where Crystal Tower will fit. It was originally intended to be in the gap between Titan and Coil. If Pharos Sirius is the post Coil content I can see them keeping that plan. Otherwise I expect by the time the patch comes out people are going to want the next tier of content and it may be post Coil.

Sad to see server transfers are pushed back to Oct. I have several friends waiting to join us on Hyperion.

Well, they estimated that less than 100 people will have beat coil by the time CT hits. And to be honest, the idea of doing stuff with CKD 24 people at a time is kind of appealing from a fun standpoint. I see CT getting a lot of use, to be honest, even if it is before Coil, technically.

Regarding Corwin's post, I was thinking the other day that temporary immunity is very much needed. But I foresee someone finding a way to abuse this to some sort of advantage.

They have got to patch the medica II to overwrite raise sickness. I feel dirty each time I do it.
