At Level 13, it's all kinda useless except for levelling a new job maybe, but once the Vanity system is in you might be able to find a use for one or two of them.

EDIT: The Lightning Returns FATE is scheduled to go live on November 14th. It's likely a limited "seasonal"-style event.

A few noteworthy things:

• By completing the quest "For the Winsome" players will gain access to a new hairstyle from the aesthetician scheduled for implementation in patch 2.1.
  
• Please note that these quests cannot be completed after the event has concluded.
  
• This event is scheduled to make a return in February 2014 for the North American and European release of Lighting Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII.
  
• Chapter 4 has a Level 45 requirement.

Krel, the secret behind our waiting a week to try T5 is so that you guys can figure it out, beat it, and then spoon-feed us all the strats.

Though all joking aside, it's a bit different for us, since we take two melee into coil, so we gotta do things a bit differently.

I freaking love our party's jobs. Having Wara on MNK/BLM and Rydall on DRG/BRD, to go along with the other two DPS being BRD & SMN has been so convenient. At first I was asking for all ranged attackers, but I've completely changed my mind.

Turn 1 they use DRG & MNK
Turn 2 they use BRD & MNK
Turn 4 they use DRG & BLM

Info from Reddit:

- Lighting randomly appears in pre-existing FATEs, as opposed to actual new ones. Participates in the fight as an NPC.

- Seems to hang around for a while at the end to talk before teleporting away.

So far sighted at:
- Sister Crustacean at NW Middle La Noscea
- Gluttinous Gertrude North of SwiftPerch (Western La Noscea).

- New music if she's at the FATE (I assume it's "Blinded By Light", but nobody said.)

- Beat the FATE while Lightning is there and you get "Other Worldly Parcels". Beating the FATE with Gold gets you 2 parcels.

- Quest completion requires 1 parcel. FF13 Weapons cost 1 parcel each. Vendor is near the quest NPC in Limsa Lominsa.

- The FF13 weapons can't be stored in the Armoire (yet). Possibly same as the current new seasonal event items where you can't sell or even drop them. If it's anything like 1.0 you'll suddenly be able to armoire new seasonal event items as the next major patch hits (2.1).

- No sign of the armor. Probably in one of the later quests in the next few days.

Ugh, stuck at work. I heard this armor/equipment is level 13?

I heard reports that people were getting 2 of the voucher items for gold, silver, or bronze. So basically... hit a mob with something, and you're probably okay. But I guess I'll have to find out for myself.

In other news, I want to do this on my alts, but they're in ul'dah. I wonder if they can use the boat to LL before having done any storyline stuff.

Well there's the gear and weapons, which could be useful for the future vanity system. Being able to make your weapon or gear look like whatever flavour of the week you feel like without actually changing it's stats will be pretty neat.

I'm surprised at no achievement too though, but perhaps one will appear when the final quest is added in a few days?
