Just to clarify, they're going to change the allagan casting
boots this week, then "hot fix" them back next week.

Also, apparently yoshi went through and explained all the patch notes in greater detail and he mentioned this:

"According to their numbers Summoners are still top DPS even with the removal of Thunder. They decided it was better to remove an additional skill rather than nerf Summoner DOTs."

We get access to Aero, right? May have to just slot that one back in to help with DPS checks, if we can't find a good use for Blizzard II. I've never paid attention to Blizzard II's mp cost, since I've only ever used in on BLM, obviously. So it may be cost-prohibitive to try and use that on Spiders, or whatnot.

Also, SMN can only cross class from Arc and Thm, so please let me know when you figure out how to equip Aero.

Seems i can finally downlaod the 2.1 patch and its 3 gigs. lol.

On the topic fot eh new ilvl 90 weapons. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone ... 23c417204/
is the bard one and its stats are *very* good. It definitely shits on relic.... its not yet clear if it beats out Allagan, but its probably pretty close due to terrible itemization. probably depends on what acc/crit gear jewelry and stuff you wear. For example can swap to allagan pants to make up the accuracy lost etc. Definitely gonna get it if its a quest reward while waiting on Allagan bow.

extreme mode primals give out weapons that are equal to the 900-mythology relic+1... makes me not want to buy any relic+1

Yeah the stats on that bow are amazing I can't think of any thing more I want on it, as for the looks...its kind of gay looking.

Did anyone happen to catch anywhere how they are changing the Double Flare glitch with BLM? I don't mean Flare -> Convert -> Swiftcast -> Flare.

Currently you can double flare by timing it right with UI3 up, the second gets the UI3 reduced cast time and the UF3 damage bonus.

I'm betting not everyone will be able to clear Extreme modes, so it won't make +1's completely worthless.

It will be a nice alternative. Saving you two weeks of Myth caps for those weapons until you need to update it down the road for Zenith +1, or whatever :D haha If they end up going that route.

Dear god, that holy lance model...so nice, I prefer the less ridiculous lance models. Forgive this but I can't tell if allagan spear is a runaway over the +1, eh. It's hard to beat the acc/crit bonuses on +1 but that is a pile of determination and the 3 extra str on allagan is nice. Probably eventually get the Holy just to look at.

Elfin bow seems like a big chunk of accuracy to lose, good thing Vurin took allagan pants omahgahd. I can't tell what the model looks like. Are those flowers dangling off of it? haha, I think I like it.

Break sword seems crummy all around.

I don't feel like doing the math or looking up threads where the info is probably listed but allagen is going to be much better. Det>crit for drg. 1wd and 3str are worth a lot of secondary stats. It will likely just shift the BiS list to make up for the acc loss on other pieces of gear. Also, holy lance stats are allocated pretty terribly so only useful for people who don't want to spent 900myth on drg as a second job or something

Make sure every one chooses the right data center when you first log in they have now split the data centers corresponding to each server so we are Primal

I hope the changes to retainers were a mistake, or perhaps its just my system. Is anyone else able to drag / drop still in order to place something on the Market Boards? I'm now having to right click everything. Not a big deal at all but just kindah a stupid change if it was intentional. but its square, so it most likely was

I've heard that CT gives 50 myth per boss. If that's the case, then game over. No need to run other dungeons for Myth. Of course, you still may want to for Philo.

Also, Peisteskin Map apparently rewards a few thousand gil and some crafting materials. Did not need a full party of 8. Could be a possible source of gil if each person in the party can spawn the stuff for the map. Otherwise, I dunno.
