What it gives you (only the recruiter) after your friend has paid for 90 days:
Pretty exciting stuff for if you have someone who has been on the fence about playing. The 20% exp boost when under 25 is a huge boon for new players. I basically posted a while back about if I should try 4-boxing FF14. So yah, I guess that's happening. |

If your friend knows they're gonna play for at least 120 days, have them buy two of those game time cards from Best Buy, and you can get your choco today! Otherwise, it's gonna be a long 30 days (and some pressure to get them to sign up for 90-day subscription timeframes, anyway) I may swing by bestbuy on the way home and pick up two copies of the game + the game cards. |

The other person has to pay for 90 days subscription to get the chocobo. Apparently people are making alt accounts and using the prepaid option to get the mount now..but geeze I don't have that amount of disposable incone. |

If the account ever had any length of time "paid" then it will not work. If the account was purchased, and only the 30 day free trial was used, then it should still work. And yah. people are basically just recruiting themselves for it. It's what I'd have to do. Just not 100% sold on the idea yet. haha |

I think it's silly to buy a second account just for a mount...I guess if you're able to afford it, etc, etc, then whatever, good for you and stuff. Personally, I would convince some random gaming stranger on reddit to open an account before I did that. |

Well, it's safe to assume that once one taxi-chicken exists, more will follow. Be it some sort of achievement award, purchased, or from weddings, or whatever. Everyone will have access to one at some point. |
