Don't fuck it up people. Here's the way it works: You get a daily quest in each housing zone that will reward you with a star. You complete the quest by examining Starlight trees in that housing zone. There is one basic tree right by the quest giver. Ignore that one, it will give you a stupid green star. Instead, people have bought trees for their FC/personal housing. You want to find a house with the appropriate tree. For a blue star, find a Moon Topped tree. For a yellow star, find a Star Topped tree. For a red star, find a Sun Topped tree. Here's a couple Reddit threads where people are posting tree locations: http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/ ... them_with/ http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/wiki/event_trees Here's my rotation: lavender ward 1 south subdivision - plot 36 - suntopped goblet ward 2 - plot 7 - moontopped mist 5 - plot 29 - starstopped I've also purchased a Moon Topped tree for our FC. Bam. This gives you one star of each color, which you can turn in for the Hoary Snowman minion, or a Premium Gift Bag (which supposedly can drop a Thav Onion). "BUT CORWIN, I NEED GREEN STARS FOR MY SHINY NEW TIGHTS" Well shut the fuck up and listen. Any of the other colored stars (yellow/blue/red) can be traded into one of the mammet npc for TWO green stars. That's right mother fuckers, TWO. So you get one green star from doing the quest line, plus you can use one daily to get TWO more green stars, enough to buy all three of the vanity gear pieces. You're god damn welcome, and have a merry fucking star light celebration. |

If using the blue one at our house, there is a yellow/startop at Ward 1 plot 7 of the goblet. |
