this is a new char im designing for.. well, basicly my portfolio.. im mainly an animator.. but i model chars alot of the times, its easier to rig and animate if you know the geometry, but blah blah.. anyway

thats my model so far, its only 1/4th of the way finished, but critique it as much as you want, i could always use the advice, expecially if anyone knows anything about 3D or anatomy or just tell me what you think of it. whatever works lol.

i dont have the wireframe mesh, but if you want, i can upload that for show. its pretty low polygon count right now.

i'm taking it into ZBrush soon. i'll upload as soon as i'm done with that.

lol its pathetic how i noticed that, but anyway, i think his hors might be a little to big for his head, or maybe its the fact that he has a butt for a forehead..

lol you didnt forget his butt, you just misplaced it, lololol

i appreciate your comments bro, really.

as for the horns, the only reason why i made his head like that is when i take it to ZBrush, im going to displace those sections of his head to fit the horns, kind of like a socket.. but i see what your saying on that.. concave foreheads look funny =D

Im quite Jelous. 3d Animation has always been something I wanted to do but couldnt.


Probably because my art skill caps off at stick figures and block letters.

meh, lol..

ive actually met 3D Artists that couldnt draw worth thier life.. i mean.. like thier stick figures came out deformed..

i could try to give you pointers and whatnot.. what program do you use for your 3D work?

Ive used everything from 3d Studios to Bryce lol. Only on a very basic level though.
