If Harry Potter doesn't die in this then I'll be disappointed. As I've mentioned before, my sister made (yes MADE) some shirts that say "Save Harry" on them because she's convinced that she'll kill him. The entire story doesn't make any sense to me if he doesn't die. I think the point was always for him to sacrifice himself and that seemed abundantly clear to me, but I guess I might be wrong because I don't really care that much lol.

The only reason why i think rowland will want to kill him is to avoid being harrassed for a spinoff or sequel by fans and companies trying to make a buck. I really think he shouldnt have to sacrifice himself because isnt that what his parents did just to save him?

I agree that it makes the most sense to have him die. But supposedly she has released a statement saying she wouldn't and i personally don't think she should, because then she's just sending out the same old message that all the cool people have to die and become martyrs.. i'm so sick of that shit, and that'd be a horrible role model for the young impressionable minds of today's youths.

However, she could totally sell out and kill him off and then make a shitload more (as if she hasn't already) money on the return of the potter series where the magic brings harry back from the grave and blah blah blah
