I want to do it pld/rdm lol. I've done the normal element avatars as rdm/nin and pld/rdm and I think I prefer pld/rdm, that's how I did my rdm af3 nm at garlaige too but it took a goddamn half hour. My problem is I have 0 offense so I depend entirely on Enspells and 200% (Martial anelace) spirits within for kill power. I kill faster on rdm, and it's fun to be an rdm with 1800+ hp, but without shadows I really get hit hard. Phalanx on pld is enough to make archduke/avatars hit 0s, stoneskin is just a nice addition, and it's great to have such powerful defense to support the buffs, which is something my rdm can't match at all. It just sucks you can't enter those mission battlegrounds at will :/ Need to enter with people who need it.

Meanwhile this is all complicated by the fact that I'm the only asshole on the planet with pld+rdm75 and no joyeuse. lol

I am surprised you haven't camped Charby and asked for help with it. Thats how I got my joyeuse, I was lucky because the other people there kept wiping and people like Ilm showed to help. Need to get timer for some other people. I remember telling MM I would help him with it haha. If I am on and not busy doing something I wouldn't mind helping someone kill Charby so they can get a joytoy.

Botting anything other than Nidhogg, Fafnir and King Behemoth is stupid. The only 3 items in the game that you could say are worth risking your account for might be Defending Ring, Ridill and possibly the body abjurations off of Nidhogg. The competition at those camps are the only reason why anyone bots there. I don't see the point of botting claim anywhere else. If you are afraid of the result of your account being banned then botting is of course stupid.

Rii, did you use dark resist gear? I know his 2hr 1 shots my taru blm. But that was with HP to MP gear and I don't think I had dark resist gear. You said something about dark resist gear when you talked about it in the game.

I did use a Jack-O-Lantern for + dark resist, but it got eaten the first time I went in. I went in twice on Sunday night and screwed up badly the first time (didn't cast Utsusemi at the start, LOL). So for the winning fight, I had only my Apollo's staff for +20. I really wasn't too worried about his 2HR, because I had previously survived Howling Moon without stoneskin.


I don't think you could survive the entire fight T2T by yourself. Itaru did Fenrir trio awhile back as RDM/NIN, RDM/NIN, BRD/WHM and they T2T'd. I duo T2T'd with Setzor once just for fun, but we screwed up and died lol. Duo wouldn't be too bad, but solo would be nearly impossible. A large problem I forsee is that Eclipse Bite is a 3X hit, so even if Fenrir has only wiped 1 shadow, you can get 1 shotted by it ><
