I can't remember if anyone has posted footage of the Odin battle here but I think not. Here's a nice long video of the fight, which takes place in the final hall of Einherjar, Valgrind- Odin's Chamber.

I love how he switches to the sword for it and in this video I think it's great how the music swings back around to the thundering drums right as he kills everyone and unleashes the last Valkyries. I hope to fight him in about a month or less.

Killed this bitch 4 times now and still no spear.

Fun fight, when you first enter the zone there is actually no music. Place is black dark and dead silent. As you move forward you see Odin alone in the distance fading in through the darkness. He is gigantic. Once he engages he speaks, "In ages past I oft journeyed the boundless aethyr to pay visit this emerald isle, and tonight the light of the Einherjar hath guided me hither once again...that I might rejoice as our blades sing before the gates of Hell!"

Once he speaks the last line the music starts. Fucking awesome. Pretty cool fight, and always an exciting final 10% to blast through after Zantetsuken.

Oh man we got the fork on our second kill. All I have to say is LOLpoint system. Ok I'll say a bit more, the drg is gimp at the moment so he refuses to get on drg until he finishes gearing it out. Some drg who is well geared but low on points was at the event and well wasn't too happy. hahaha

Too bad for the pimped out DRGs. Tell them to show up more :) Not gonna default them a fork because they are pimped out and came to 3 einherjars and 1 odin.

Meh I never agreed with giving people who don't put any effort into their jobs nice gear like that but the other person never comes drg even when she's told to come whatever job she wants. Its either blu or war so its hard to sympathize with her too.

Do you still play Val? Lol or do you just like showing BG how much of a bigot you can be. :P Its funny cause as soon as I started reading that thread I thought you were going to say something but I thought it would have been sooner than when you did.

Lol, yea I still play. Mainly on the weekends tho. Rarely log on during the week.
