goal was to create reconniasance tank that can drive itself with sonar sensors, or Remote COntrol. be able to have a camerea on it so you can watch wheres its driving. have audio feedback on the tank and controller to interact with the environment. map out regions and store driving data including direction and size of an area so that the device would map out an area and drive back through it without having to remap the entire area to find its way through. chose a tank cause we wanted it to be mobile, agile, hostile. able to go anywhere and not be limited by traction of wheels or road. be able to turn on a dime and be very accurate in its movement. be large enough and heavy enough to not be stopped by small objects like RC cars (couldnt find big enough treads) |

never got around to mapping, or compass. broke the LCD screen, 4/9 of the Sonar sensors (very fragile), broke 2 remote transmitters, 1 AV transmitter, 2 PIC18f452 Microcontrollers, like 10 ICs, 1 8V battery pack, and runs on 48 AA batteries per 3hours |

heh ouch talk about when you work on a phototype then you break something. You could at least made a damn Mobile Suit Gundam so I can take over the world. |
