the other wyrm coming at him from behind should not be the same type as the one he's fighting. that just creates some confusion as to what it's reflecting

last pic look great but if your trying to get the reflection, trying like a party right Behind him would look great on that sword.

sam right leg is real mess up making look like its broken.

Yeah I think I might apply the Jorm skin to the wyrm behind him. The title of that piece would be "Two Wyrms".

I dont think anyone realizes how hard it is to "guess" where a wyrm would stand in order for his head and body to perfectly relflect down a blade haha. The other wyrm is actually floating, tilted and spun to the right. Its kind of funny.

I like Panthers idea of having a party and I really like reins idea of seeing a dead dragon in the reflection. I can do a lot of modification to models and where they stand so I have some ideas.

Too bad my job sucks in ffxi for cool battle stances or anything "cool" at all haha.


Ive got a good image using volumetric lighting that I want to try.

there isnt anything he can do to fix that ankle, its the model the game gives him, unless he wants to rebuild the model's ankle. in reality, if your leg/ankle was almost parallel to the floor, it would be dislocated too.

if u look at the model viewer, it shows the same thing, so its not a render problem, just a model problem

vertex-mode model editing is pretty easy, especially for low poly game models. Might want to try something simple like milkshape 3d if you arent good with 3dsmax yet.

add some high grass and if that doesnt cover the foot then move the foot a few inches below the ground ontop of the grass to hide that broken shyt lol i'll try and upload some of my renders when i get home >_< i'll try not to steal the spotlight off you yarr '.'
