So I made this render last night in about 20 minutes. I played a little around a little but it didnt turn out at all.

I changed it a bit before work today. I changed the angle and added some cheese premade trees haha. All the tree lagged my system like hell so it might be a 12 hour render, who knows.

Good news is that I figured out how to do Volumetric Lighting.

I would try to make it look like the DRG is holding the dragons head back with his lance. Or about to strike the final blow, Impulse drive has a good set of poses you could use.

Its been done to death really.

I did manage to do some fun multi texturing last night. I had it so only the metal parts of the dragoon armor were shiny and the leather parts were dull. Looked alright, but I still need to learn how to do metal with out it looking like slime haha.


I spent most my time the volumetric lighting. Although aside from that VL i didnt do much. Hence the image looking junky lol.

that looks really good.. lol but again man i think it would look better if it was day time.. you had no moon, and you put the sun behind bahamut.. but i duno if you would get eh same effect.. its nice but your hair looks fucked up

It was just a test render haha. I didnt bother changing the background from the default, I didnt bother fixing the blocky frame.

Heres the multi texturing I was talking about. You can see here all the metal is reflective, where as the leather parts are not.

yeah ignore the texture i used. I just applied a basic arc metal. Always looks wet not metalic lol.

I was thinking PvP but that would be cool as well, have DRG and a SAM fighting or something under a waterfall
