In all honesty I would rather, but I dont have any merits in enfeebling magic , they are all in elemental. So just debuff with af1 body and eat Goblin mushpot to make up for the 10 mnd.

With af1 body and af2 hat, rdm can safely debuff any mob in the game aside from sky gods. If for some reason we cant, there is enfeeb earring and master casters braclet lol.

With elemental magic merits though Ill be able to engance any kind of solo nuke strat, along with reliably bursting on kings.

Angie can prolly back me up on this, as she has capped ele skill merits also I believe.

Not really, a lot of players think merits should be used for your weaknesses and not your strengths. I think the only time enfee magic matters is against Gods, other then that the majority of the time RDM shouldn't haven't too much of a problem debuffin naked.

heh I was just kinda assuming the merits into enfeeble would add to the effectivness of the spell and the enfeeble. Such as para or gravity sticking longer and the mob building less resistence to the spell.

It does, but you have to look at the whole picture when investing into merits nowadays. It's not how it use to be where there was like 1-2 RDMs in a HNM ls. Now there are tons. So it's kinda useless to have like 5 RDMs with the same kind of merit focus fighting the same mob. By pumping points into a different merit focus you can be useful in another area in the big picture.

regardless if ur investing in some kinda nuke strategy the amount of damage ur doing per nuke probably isn't going to be deciding factor in a solo kite battle, staying alive is. pretty much ne form of rdm solo is about lasting and enfeeble makes that easier too

Actually in a 30minute enm/bcnm fight where nuking is your key to winning, and the mob builds tolerance to grav'd, and you can already feeble reliably, yeah Id have to say my elemental magic IS the deciding factor, and if by lasting youre talking about the Bio2 and run strat, Bio already has 100% acc.
