not really...it's another one of those bs items SE decides to offer to players who have been with the game since its inception. Kind of like relic weapons being upgraded first by all the JP players who have had plenty of time to amass in-game currency.

I'm pretty sure it's been stated that the zilart jobs (nin, sam, ???) aren't required for maat's cap.. so the CoP jobs will prolly not count towards it either.. just the main jobs (and prolly the first set of advance jobs as well)

Unless there's some hidden effect, that cap is fucking useless.

Wasting the time of your life to get all jobs to 66 and own maat, just to get his hat that gives +7 to every stat is just gay... especially since Kirin's Osode gives +10 Though not every job can use it, you can lvl a 2nd job that CAN equip it to 75 and get the osode faster than taking every job to 66

Yeah you would use it with Osode and it would be pretty overpowering for any WS macro in the game pretty much.
