I have no idea what happens to the video at 11:29. Might be Jesus.

Anyway fun fight. Super fun 3-legged race/merry-go-round mechanics. We killed it as the enrage move finished casting.

And hey, I unfiltered party action effects.

The best thing about this win is that this was just supposed to be a learning/practice run to work on the tethers phase. Most of us were focused on surviving and not dpsing, so a lot of mistakes were made and rotations fucked up. But suddenly everything clicked and we realized we might actually beat it.

So would you all say that the final coil is a bit easier than the 2nd coil set? It seems people are actually enjoying it a bit more, which is a novel idea for a game you're paying to play. haha. I'm sure hoping that's the case, at least! 2nd coil was pretty icky.

Rid, I wouldn't say it's easier, but the fights are super exciting. I really enjoy t10 & t11. There are a lot of mechanics to learn and both turns require team work. :)

They're more fun now that I don't have cripplingly bad magic defense. It's also fun since we have, for the most part, gone without reading or watching anything.

I wouldn't call Final Coil "easier" than Second Coil. About the same as when it was first added really.

Second Coil has now been nerfed though. Except for Turn 9, they removed basically everything that can one-shot you or your party. Things before that would kill everybody if you got wrong are now usually just a minor inconvenience to the guy that gets hit by it.

They had to or there was like no chance in hell of a duty finder party ever winning.

I guess I was comparing how quickly turns were downed in Second Coil versus Final Coil. But... I also have been out of the loop for so long, so I'm probably way out of touch. Either way, it sounds like people are enjoying it more, which is good. haha
