Since I work right in the heart of shitty old New York I figured I'd hit a couple places on the way home from work on Friday. Picked up a new jacket and sweater at Old Navy for less than half price, $49 for the pair and good god am I warm. On my way to work around 8AM I was going to go to Best Buy, but instead of just being open and allowing people in they were letting people in in ticketed groups. I figure the extra organization keeps it safe but it also meant I couldn't get in before work. Hit the place around 6:30PM though and they still had Madden and Dragon Age at a cool $35 apiece. Score. Besides these I also claimed a $19.98 Street Fighter 4 on Amazon, free shipping too. I almost wish I hadn't bought a PS3 when I did, the bundle deals Friday were insane. One included Killzone 2 and Infamous at no extra charge and another had Littlebig Planet (Game of the year version) and the new Ratchet and Clank for no extra charge. $300 for a bundle with two games included is like oldschool Sega Genesis stuff haha. So did anybody else do any black Friday shopping? Anybody get crazy deals anywhere? Find any deals nobody else knew about? |

I got some games and stuff over the weekend at Amazon, they're still doing a deal a day through the 18th or 19th. Also picked up Resident Evil 5 for $20 and Need for Speed for $35 at Best Buy, Persona (psp) for $15 at amazon, and bought Ratchet & Clank: Crack in Time at amazon for regular price and got a $20 psn certificate. |
