Rad levels are about 0.4 to 35. highest I seen yet. if you took your normal chess X-ray your getting about 50. rad and highest rad is CAT scan is about 150 (I think). Japan is safe and level are very very low and you just need to wash yourself with soap and water and discard the items and clothing.

As for Chernobly was a human error that they didn't build a strong overhead protection and worse they had no experience doing this shit. Worse thing they did is open rod up then closed it then immediately open the rod too fast not letting them cool down long enough that cuase them to boil too fast also they opened them wide open that rod went too far out and got stuck that they couldn't close it that made that rod go into meltdown which it blew up rad all over the place badly.
