just saw it and omg omg omg. Best Movie all year. No huge love stories that slowed things down and make the chars make dumb decisions. Right from the beginning it was intense action and with like 5-10 mins down time the whole movie the whole time. And even started true to alot of the stuff in the old films. Count it!

I will admit it was entertaining, but overall it seemed like a bunch of homages of recycled ideas from previous Terminator films.

I will admit though that I was glad to see it in theatres, but some of the logic of the film was off. Let's just say that there was parts of the film that was greatly entertaining, but when you gave thought to nuclear blasts emitting radiation, machines being quiet as a mouse one second then super loud and whirring and the humans didn't hear them coming there were some upsetting fallacies.

I think it was the film's intention to just entertain but I just couldn't suspend certain areas of disbelief to fully enjoy it.

I feel like a nerd in going with Mikey that Star Trek was better. The story alone and the acting pulled it off over Terminator.

Bottom line: worth seeing in a theatre if you haven't seen Star Trek yet. ;p

Star Trek was good i admit. but It had like to action scenes the whole movie. It was a good orgins like movie. The second will be much better. Terminator had so many action scenes it was just awesome.

It just sounds like your the type of guy who sees movies like Star Trek and the whole time says "That would never happen" after every action scene lol It's a freaking fiction film. And I refuse to say "just take it for what it is". I just think it's was awesome b/c they gave you that feeling that they have built up enough of a force to actually make some hits to cyberdyne but alone the machines really have the upper hand. They make a machine for every situation.

Only time I was kinda annoyed was when that RPG went off in the tunnel and he jumped on that chick to protect her from the fire going thru it. The fire just rolled over them and then back and nothing on them was burnt...... His jacket would had been in flames and their hair on fire or gone.. thats the only part.

Star Trek was a better movie, but I did enjoy Terminator Salvation. They could have done a lot more with the story, and it did have a plothole or two.
