I don't hate Afleck, he's done plenty of solid if not amazing work ( which is fine for a superhero movie), but he's a pretty hard sell as Batman. I can buy the Bruce Wayne a little bit, but not he's gonna have a tough time selling me him as Batman. |

I think Ben Affleck is a good director (Argo and the Town were both great movies) and he's ok as an actor...but I can't see him as Batman. |

omg guys remember when the internet rolled their eyes when Heath Ledger was announced to play the Joker.  maybe Ben will go super dark on this roll and end up going crazy by the end of the movie and off himself  too soon?

Am I the only person who hated Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne? I couldn't stand him. I hated his "Batman" voice. I still haven't seen the third Batman movie, I'm just not a big Batman fan. I don't think people on the internet should be getting so worked up. Anyone can play Batman. Put on the costume and pretend your calling in sick for work. Done. |

Christian Bale's Batman was great, but I didn't really like his Bruce Wayne at the end of the trilogy. I don't think Affleck is a terrible choice, just surprising. He is a good actor who was in some terrible movies. |

No you aren't Yarr. That voice would pull me out of the movie quite a lot, and they were good movies for the most part. The third one is really worth watching for Tom Hardy's performance as Bane... it's fucking great. Just like the 2nd was all about Heath Ledger. |

Seems to be a common theme with all the batman movies. Everyone praises the villans, not so much the bat. At least for the first two, last two. Not sure what the jury things about Batman Begins (I enjoy origin stories - so I liked it), but we definitely won't bother mentioning any of the post-keaton movies of the 90's. haha |
