While I realize this is completely subjective, I feel like I always miss out on some great movies that didn't get the million dollar blockbuster advertising campaign.

Two that specificaly come to mind are:
Image
Into the White
Norway, WWII: A group of British and German soldiers find themselves stranded in the wilderness after an aircraft battle. Finding shelter in the same cabin, they realize the only way to survive the winter is to place the rules of war aside.

In Bruges (Seriously watch this movie if you haven't)
Guilt-stricken after a job gone wrong, hitman Ray and his partner await orders from their ruthless boss in Bruges, Belgium, the last place in the world Ray wants to be.

100 Days with Mr. Arrogant
South Korean Rom Com about a strong-willed girl whom damages an asshole rich guy's Lexus. As reprimand, he makes her be his personal slave for 100 days tease and punish her. However, he accidentally bites off more than he can chew when he aggravates her ire and learns revenge works both ways. One of my favorite movies.

I like older kung fu movies.
some of my favorites that not many people have heard of.

1984 "Wheels on meals" theres a great fight scene (for its time) with jackie chan and Benny "the jet" urquidez

1986 "Millionaires Express" aka "Shanghai Express" a decent film, mainly due to a slew of 80s martial artist actors including Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Cynthia Rothrock, Richard Norton, Yasuaki Kurata ect. good luck finding this movie on dvd. I had a copy of it on VHS and that one was hard to come by.

Love this movie, been meaning to watch it for a while and just saw it recently on Netflix. Music is pretty good, too.

Every now and again I'll come across a movie that I can watch over and over again, and The Core is one of them. Not the greatest movie by any standard but worth a look.

If you enjoy kung-fu movies, though they are newer, watch the Ip Man movies. Donnie Yen is one of my (currently active) favorite martial arts film stars.
