Omg I'm only a little bit vegan...and it's not entirely because I want to be. I have a weird circulatory disorder and my hands and feet turn blue and swell up. My naturopath (fake doctor) has me on an elimination diet to find out if it's a food sensitivity causing it. Lol!!! I don't think I look that terrible! :p I mean, yeah I'm wearing makeup in this pic, buttttt so is nigela. Haha

Aw, Pie. You look fine! And I'm just giving you shit, anyway.

You're keeping any open mind and not like going 0-60 on the whole thing, which is fine. I've just met some who rant against the medicine industry in a black/white manner. And I always have to remind them that there's tons of money/lobbying behind both groups.

The only difference between "Big Pharma vs. Alternative Medicine" is one has to run through the gamut of tests to try and ensure it's safe for humans, while the other simply has to avoid certain words on their labels that are governed by the FDA. haha

I don't always trust the FDA...not so sure everything that is deemed "safe" actually is. You know, stuff like GMO produce, high fructose corn syrup, etc. I generally try to eat organic produce, locally farmed meats and dairy. Canada has more strict regulations on meat and dairy products than the us, but it's far from perfect. I go to the farmer's market every weekend and buy my hippy food and hippy soap and shit. I look 10 years younger than I am and I hope to keep that going well into old age. ;)

As long as it's soap and not crystals!

Used to work with one of those guys who used crystals as deodorant. In the words of Pokemon; it's not very effective. Eventually HR had to step in and ask the guy to change his ways, as it was in violation of the smell code, or whatever.

When I can eat food and drink alcohol again, I'm going back to the pub down the street for these.

Remember watching "Blow" and at the end of the movie, they say the real George Jung (played by Johnny Depp) would be released from prison in 2014? It seemed like a LONG WAY AWAY...

Well, as of today, he's out after serving almost 20 years. He's 71-years-old.

In the 70s and 80s, Jung was said to be responsible for about 89% of cocaine smuggled into America.
