I had people I looked up to as PLD. Cristhian was my original motivation to get 75. I examined him everytime I saw him and was always in awe (he was 75 when I was a noob). I wanted to be that so bad. I would go to Cris for general tanking advice like questions about the job abilities, hate control, etc. how to tank certain mobs. He was a good help along the way, and a good friend. Then theres Dalek (Cris quit PLD). Dalek took PLD very seriously and always had good advice (like Cris) and was a good idol. I wanted to be like him when I was 75. He is my favorite PLD today. If I still had Kluya I would still strive to be like Dalek with gear and attitude. I would stay PLD and maybe he would be my archrival lol...I love him though.

dont really have any people that i consider hardcore ones but i tend to try and one up all the drks around my lvl in gear, lvl, and skill.
but gear and lvl have become harder and harder to keep up, i usually lack parties, and i thought my big thing for when i was 70 was gonna be my balmung but it doesnt really matter anymore since everyone and their mom has one now. (bought balmung back in february when i was still 64 ish) and then i quit for the summer and most of the drks my lvl are 75 now. oh well thats what i get for quitting for the summer. one + is i bought my enkys at 400k now they 2 mil . All of the drks i still consider my friends and or people i havent pissed off yet but a few have lost my respect since they have seemed to find a way to get 16 mil in equip over one weekend. oh well they got a friend (IGE)

Rivals....hmm..

The only one I could think of for WHM was Hitmanr. Me and him were always on the same lvl. I would be lvl 70 one day then the next day he would be 71 etc. I finally ended up beating him but he beat me into CKD. So i guess its all evened out.

only thing i can think of was Rune as my Bst rival but we were duo partners never any hard feelings and i always thought he was a better bst secretly haha. i've gotten better since then btw lol F U rune.


I remeber i use to be rivals with Znake on Sam he use to ask me questions all the time about SCs and what to use and what not and i use to help him out . And being so mad when got pts before me thinking "why the F??k this guy getting pts before me i know more then him" and i remeber he tryied to get into a LS of mine and i said no he wasn't up to par and someone told him i said that and he told me i was mentor to him on Sam and i felt real bad after that ahah and didn't play sam much after that.

Brd no one really Vurin was always vocal how he thought i sucked and well everyone feels it's their duty to so i always strugged it off./

PLD would have to be shiloh. I wish he was stil around for me to make notes b/c i'm totaly into straight up tanking stuff F??k kiteing.

Other RDMs I would put in the friendly rivalry category:

SS, for always being willing to discuss every single piece of gear and the benefits of one piece over another, and for having like 2348902 more MND and a better paralyze proc rate than me no matter how much I try.

Corwin, for always being slightly ahead of me with merits, gear, etc. When he was in FS he was getting enfeebling merit 2 when I was at 1, and finishing off his HQ staves as I was starting my set and I always tried to compete with him for landing enfeebles on the tough mobs.

I'm pretty much the guy that tries to be everyone's friend. lol Although, I have my people that kinda get me moving, Damion and Chameleo, albeit they're both Red Mages have kept me moving along towards getting 75, as well as getting things done in the game. lol, Damion beat me to 75, but I'm cool with that.

First Idol I had was every other RDM's, Griffis. lol

Shadowstalker was my only RDM hero to become RDM, after my DRG, BLM reach to lv70ish ...he is still my RDM hero tho

Well there isn't to many people to compare myself to ,but I always check vetall out hes be the other galka whm for awhile. I saw him lvl from 40-75 before I got 70-75. For war i think ilma is the best war i've seen just cause i like the idea of war tanking shit and he seems to do it all the time.

I don't have any rivals or idols, Kazekuro, Chameleo, and a few other guys I know are good at keeping spirits up and keeping you from getting all bent about something. As for people I dislike, no one specifically, if someone rubs me the wrong way or won't listen when the whole party tries to help them out they already earned a spont on my /blist.

Just ask Chameleo about "What's hate?"

Red Mage who taught me a lot is my Japanese friend Resta...haven't seen her in a long time. Leveled with her in a Japanese party where she was BRD and I was RDM. Came to find that she was already a 75 RDM and 75 BLM. We leveled DRK around the same time and commiserated about playing melee lol. Resta is fun and sweet and hysterically funny in autotranslate.

There are one or two Red Mages I simply can't stand, but I'll leave them unnamed, since I'd rather just ignore their existence. They are the kind of Red Mages who give the job a bad name.

I'll give lots of credit to other Red Mages, especially those who coached me in prep for Maat: Valencia, Durga (who was gracious enough to lend me his Wind Staff), and Salvatore.

WHM idols will always be Kenetics <3; Cherie <3 and currently Rabaja <3

BLM idol, tons of great BLM friends, Taquito, Deadlegend, Calibos, and Chinook, who makes me want to be a Black Mage when I grow up. Probably several others I can't think of atm.

Yeah there was quite a while where there would only be one NA party xping, so it had to be you or me in it.
