Yeah that's what mine started doing first. I had to keep rebooting it b/c it would freeze. Now when I try to reboot it it gets stuck on the 360 title screen, and pops the 3 red lights.

Atleast yours had a good run lol. That's a long time.

I might pull the stunt I did with my last broken 360. Buy a new bundle at Costco and return this one (with it's original receipt, not in the new box). I want the Halo 360 anyways. The looks grew on me. I need to gather $500 first...

how does the online thing work for ps3 and 360? if i have dsl do i just plug a dsl cord in and i can play with people across the world? is it that easy?

Pay MS $50 for a year and you can. You get demo's for 99% of the games out or coming out, online play, downloadable content, movie/T.V. shows, rentals, etc.

PS3 online is free, but the games aren't hosted by Sony's servers so you have to deal with issues such as lag from game to game. You get free demo's but usually not for most games, and a few other things. PSN is a lot newer, so it's not full of the same features that Xbox Live has.

PS3 is still going through birthing pains, even though its almost a year old now. The Wii is too, but since it's so much cheaper, people really don't complain as much about only having 5 or so good games. Within the next year, PS3 will having an okay enough library to justify the purchase of one. And if Blu-Ray movies become more affordable also. There's really a lot going against the PS3 right now.

Folklore is coming out next week, and that looks pretty interesting.

kluya im not a sony fanboy by anymeans, i just dont like to buy shit from microsoft. they are too notorius for having more bugs in everything they release. sony, as far as electronics go are a global fucking giant with higher reputation of non failing devices. i choose ps3 with quality of product factoring heavy in my decision, and so far based on the outbreak of the rrod sweeping the globe like a bad case of sars from crazed spider monkey, i cant say ive gone wrong.
