Hey, thanks Yarr
I'm not gonna lie.. it was brutal. I thought because I got the other one on the outside of my arm that it would be no big deal. I was dead wrong. Now I understand why girls scream and people pass out/throw up, or never go back to get theirs finished. I have 2 more appointments booked for shading and color and I have no intention of skipping out them, nor did I throw up or feel faint or anything like that... but it was definitely excruciating.
He started in the ditch of my inner arm and it was bad, I was hoping as he moved up, some parts would be more bearable. It stayed pretty consistent as far as the pain goes. As the 3rd hour struck it started to become like water torture where I was trying to will my muscles into not flinching away from the needle. We were going to try getting into some shading but I guess he figured I'd endured enough and set me free.
Surprisingly though, the healing is going better than my last tattoo, it hasn't wept or swelled/raised, I don't have any bruising as I did with the last one, the soreness has been moderate at worst, and it's only been 3 days but already the scabs are starting to rub off naturally.
I'll keep posting as I get more done, the next session is the 24th so expect an update after that. My gf is supposed to come with me since she won't be away on business like she is now, so hopefully I'll have some better pictures next time around. I know it's gonna look sick when it's done
