Inception (new movie)

Fucking amazing. I work anti-pirate security at premiers and press releases as a part time job, and so got to see it today. The plot was super well developed and did great, leaving the crowd screaming at the end of the last scene. Anyone looking forward to seeing it?

While I don't doubt that the movie was good...great even, it reminded me a bit of Vanilla Sky mixed with Deja Vu (Denzel Washington) and less Matrix than it advertised, perhaps the film was overhyped as I was super-stoked to see it and viewed it more subjectively than I should have.

The $11 price tag also may have been a factor. Overall, yes, good movie that leaves the viewer thinking even after it ends. Definitely worthy of checking out, but not as eye-popping out of my sockets as I expected it to be.

Inception > Salt

Though Salt was a decent popcorn action flick (if you can get over the stigma of Jolie), it was a bit predictable in points as well. However, Salt is ramped like a Die Hard movie and instead of Bruce Willis you have a girl kicking ass (again, if you can get over the Jolie stigma).

Inception takes the cake because even though I have seen movies similar to it I have never seen a movie or idea quite like it...the acting is better as well, and there are scenes that I took more away after watching the movie versus Salt which was enjoyable but required little reflection after.

I agree with supa. I've seen inception a few times now and every time I pick up on something that I didn't catch before and every time I leave the theater with a new take on how I feel about the film.

well I ju$t watched thi$ movie and I like it. They did real good making thi$ movie.

If your wonder why I am u$ing thi$ $tupid dollar $ign, I ju$t bought new keyboard and 3 day$ later key between A and D ju$t quit working now I am PI$$ED off. What even better my G15 key board only la$ted 3 year then B and V key$ quit working. I don't hit key$ very hard I ju$t type normal.
